Motorola Validates OnSSI's IP Video Surveillance Software as MOTOMESH-Ready

OnSSI's system tested and validated for compatibility with Motorola's Fixed and Mobile Broadband Access Platform

Suffern, NY – November 22th, 2006 -- On-Net Surveillance Systems Inc. (OnSSI), the market leader in non-proprietary, open architecture IP-Based Video Surveillance, announced today that Motorola Inc., a world leader in delivering wireless and broadband mission-critical communications, has signed a Validation and Trademark License Agreement, selecting OnSSI's IP-based Video Surveillance Software as the first to be compatible for use on the MOTOMESH network.

The MOTOMESH solution allows application running on wireless broadband networks to operate over a common physical infrastructure offering seamless security, service and connectivity to first responders and other law enforcement personnel. The network also helps to reduce the time it takes to respond to emergencies, as responders do not need to rely on virtual networking, which shares bandwidth and access on a single Wi-Fi network.

The mobile mesh network arrangement lets government entities such as municipalities address their general and public-safety wireless data needs in a single deployment, without impacting the integrity of the public-safety network. Furthermore, it allows for critical video to be transmitted from surveillance cameras located throughout cities where OnSSI's technology is deployed.

The agreement between Motorola and OnSSI also allows both companies to support and promote each other's solutions.

"We are delighted to partner with Motorola in order to further support and provide advanced IP video wireless to public safety, government, education, retail and enterprise areas, where security needs are increasing nationwide," says Gadi Piran, President and CTO of OnSSI.

OnSSI's IP video surveillance platforms, including the large-scale NetDVMS 6.0 NVR and camera management software, provide automated event detection and intelligent delivery of surveillance video to users through a wide array of video clients, from handheld to full-scale video wall virtual matrix display. OnSSI's solutions are future-proof and upgradeable.
