OnSSI and AgileMesh Team Up to Provide Feature-Rich Video Surveillance over Rapidly Deployable Wireless Mesh Networks for Law Enforcement

Integrated solution will enable SWAT teams and first responders to set up and access live and stored video from dozens of cameras within minutes of arriving at a scene

Suffern, NY and Richardson, TX – December 6th, 2006 -- On-Net Surveillance Systems Inc. (OnSSI), the market leader in non-proprietary, open architecture IP-Based Video Surveillance software solutions, and AgileMesh, a Texas-based corporation that develops rapidly and easily deployable wireless, mesh-networked video surveillance systems, announced today a strategic partnership in providing feature-rich video surveillance solutions over rapidly deployable wireless mesh networks, mainly for the use of public safety forces including SWAT, HAZMAT, emergency rescue and firefighter teams.

By employing ruggedly enclosed, self-contained modules which include the cameras, mounts, mesh transmitters and receivers and control unit, an entire AgileMesh video system can be deployed within minutes by a single or a small group of tactical responders. AgileMesh's self-forming and self-healing mesh-based network assures the communication between the different components, and all that is needed is to set components to the same secure channel. This eliminates the need to configure the IP address and other configuration parameters for each component separately.
